Claude Debussy began composing the remarkably romantic piece in 1890 when he was only 28 years old, but it wasn’t finished for another 15 years!
The title translates as ‘Moonlight’ and it is actually part of the four-movement work: “Suite Bergamasque.”
The beautiful work has been featured in dozens of films including, “And the Ship Sails On”, “The Darjeeling Limited” and even “Twilight”
